Permitting

The City of Airway Heights' Building department handles all the City's building code enforcement and permit issuance. If you wish to do any type of construction within the City you generally must obtain a permit before commenciing your project. The City has provided downloadable forms below for your convenience to help expedite the process.   Checklists are available for both commercial and residential projects as well as manufactured home placement.

For most commercial projects, it will be necessary to schedule a pre-development, Technical Committee meeting with the City.  For More information on Technical Committee meetings, click here.

Business Licenses

Bona fide businesses seeking to do construction work within the City limits will be required to obtain a Business License from the City of Airway Heights. You may apply for a 48-hour, 30-day or annual license.  Annual licenses run January 1st to December 31st of the calendar year in which they are purchased.

Fee Schedule

The City of Airway Heights uses the 1997 UPC, UBC and UMC when determining project valuations. For a complete list of applicable fees that will be accessed, click here.
