Parks Maintenance Overhire
Airway Heights Parks & Recreation is looking for an energetic, motivated person to fill an open Recreation Assistant position. This position primarily will have the responsibility for organization and supervision of children ages 5 to 13 for After School Programs. These program offer a fun, safe, supervised environment to community kid. This position requires strong communication skills with kids and adults, as well as the ability to provide and maintain a safe environment for all participants.

- Outgoing and willing to take on additional assignments as needed.

- The ideal candidate will have or be pursuing a degree in Recreation Management or related field.
- Successfully complete a criminal history check.
- Successfully complete a drug test prior to hiring.
- Valid Washington State drivers license.
- Card / First Aid Card (training available through the AH Fire Dept)
- Must be able to obtain prior to hiring:
- Food Handlers card.
Wage & Hours:
- $10.00/ Hour
- 10-20 Hours/Week - Days and hours vary.
Must be available to work weekends and nights for various other programs.
