Civil Service Commission

The Civil Service Commission office for the City of Airway Heights is located in the Police Department Building at 13414 W. Sunset Hwy.  The Chief Examiner is Shea'lyn Swan.  She can be reached by leaving a message at the Police Dept at 509-244-3707. 

The office hours are on Fridays by appointment only.


  • Police Officer Lateral: 

    Police Officer Lateral applications are being accepted to establish a police officer hiring list for the City of Airway Heights.  This is for Lateral Applicants with two years continuous experiance only at this time.  Applications available online or call: 509-244-3707 for questions or further information or stop by the Airway Heights Police Department, 1307 S. Ziegler St., Airway Heights. Current range of consideration: $3726-4450, DOQ.

    Applications accepted through: August 19, 2013 at 5:00pm at the Airway Heights Police Department, or by mail to 1208 S. Lundstrom St., Airway Heights, WA 99001, postmarks accepted


Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of application. Mail or drop off completed applications to the City of Airway Heights, 1208 S. Lundstrom St. 99001.
