Below are recently completed and current developments within the City of Airway Heights. In an effort to provide the city with up to date information of the projects this page will be updated as changes occur.

Panda Express--Coming Soon! The Panda Restaurant Group plans to break ground on their newest store in the greater Spokane area right here in Airway Heights. Plans are to begin constuction sometime in the spring of 2008 with an opening date of sometime in the summer--stay tuned for more information.
Les Schwab Tires--Open Now! Les Schwab has completed construction of their newest store in Airway Heights in January 2008. They are located on West Sunset Hwy 2 in Airway Heights.
Numerica Credit Union--Open Now! Numerica Credit Union opened their doors in January 2008 and are aggressively opening new accounts on the West Plains.
Wal*Mart Wal*Mart is now open...welcoming the community at their grand opening in November 2007.
Kalispel Hotel Casino Resort--construction to be complete in Fall 2009
The Kalispel Tribe of Indians is in construction of an ambitious expansion of their current Northern Quest Casino in Airway Heights. Their plans include adding a 7-story atrium 250-room hotel and parking garage, in addition to expanding their casino and events center floorspace. This project will add another 250 temporary and 100 permanent jobs to the casino payroll. Read more about their plans here.
Hayden Homes has been in construction of the Sunset Crossing subdivision, a residential subdivision that will eventually total about 152 single family homes. The first phase of 34 homes is complete north of 6th Ave. and West of Russell. They are currently finishing up construction on the 1st Addition which will total 50 homes. They have also submitted applications for approval of a Sunset Crossing North which will eventually total over 100 new single family homes.
Aspen Grove Subdivision, being built by Korsumo, Inc., is located north from 12th to 6th, and east of Craig Road. The development with 3 and 4 bedroom single family homes ranging from $130,000 to $230,000. They have just received final approval of the Aspen Grove Phase III with construction to commence in 2007.
Russell Heights located between Russell St. and Garfield Rd. in the northern part of the city has just completed phase I and is now in construction of the 43-lot First Addition. When completed this duplex devlopment will add a total of 130 living units to the city.
Hunter's Crossing AHO construction has started building the Hunter's Crossing subdivision north of the city. The first phase is complete and they are starting the next phase. Home prices will start at $146,000, making it one of the most affordable housing developments in the greater Spokane area.
