Landreth Family Investments Limited Partnership & Korsumo Inc. in consideration of certain conditions and covenents have agreed to donate approximately 8.5 acres of land to the City. The City has the option of developing a Wastewater Storage Facility & Park or opting to develop a Park without the wastewater storage. The City shall determine the Park amenities and improvements reasonable necessary and beneficial to the public including, but not limited to, a Recreation Center, Playgrounds, Ball Fields, Open Spaces, Vehicle Parking and all related improvements and utilities on the property. In the spring of 2007 the City contracted with ALSC Architects to create preliminary master plans for this site. These plans were developed after a series of public workshops held throughout 2007.
