Washington Retail Survey Data The 2006 and 2008 Washington Retail Survey conducted by the Eureka Group has given the City of Airway Heights a 5-star rating in terms of retail sales strength for Washington cities. Demographics The Geiger Spur is the main rail line that brings rail service into the heart of the City of Airway Heights' industrial area. Spokane County headed a drive to reroute the line from its former route into FAFB, and thus ensuring that the rail line will remain accessible to the businesses of Airway Heights that use this line. The City and County continue to work towards the development of a new Rail Transloader facility in the City's industrial area.
