The Geiger Spur is the main rail line that brings rail service into the heart of the City of Airway Heights' industrial area. Currently the existing line runs through Fairchild AFB, which is requesting that the line be re-routed off the base. Spokane County has headed this drive so that the rail line remains vital to the businesses of Airway Heights that use this line.
