Overview


Airway Heights Fire Department was formed in the early 1960’s to provide fire protection to the incorporated areas inside the City of Airway Heights. Today, the Airway Heights Fire Department protects over 4,500 people and an area of 5.5 square miles. The Airway Heights Fire Department responds to all emergencies within the City limits; and to emergencies in other cities and fire districts when requested.

Outdoor Fires Restricted
Burn restrictions have now been put into place as of July 15, 2010 that restict both open burning aswell as recreational fires throughout Spokane County including Airway Heights.
