Lodging Tax Advisory Committee


Meeting Notice

The objective of the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) is to support projects which encourage and promote tourism and cultural activities in Airway Heights.  This group advises and provides recommendations to the City Council regarding tourism programs and expenditures.  They review tourism-related projects which is intended to promote economic activity resulting from tourists

The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee members are nominated and confirmed by the City Council for terms not to exceed two (2) years.  The committee will consist of five (5) members, of which two (2) members shall be representatives of businesses required to collect the tax; two (2) members shall be persons involved in activities authorized to be funded by the collected revenue; and one (1) member shall be an Airway Heights City Council member who presides as the chair.

The Committee meets on a recurring or as needed basis.  Notices of any LTAC meetings will be advertised in the local newspaper, at City Hall, and on the City's website.
