Just in time to save money for the holidays!
Sign up now for a four week class on the art of couponing. This free class aims to help consumers save money and reduce monthly budget expenses. Classes will cover the basics of how to coupon, how to meal plan with coupons, how to stockpile, how to "stack" coupons, how to get free items and much more!
Class 1- Define coupons, coupon policies, where to get coupons
Class 2- Using coupons, stacking coupons, rolling rewards
Class 3- Meal Planning and budgeting with coupons
Class 4- Stockpiling, storage, coupon organization, online resources

+ First Aid / CPR Class +
We have 1 Public CPR Class left for 2013. These one day ETM taught CPR/First Aid Classes will cover the basics to being prepared in case of an emergency with an adult, child or infant. This class will cover CPR, basic first aid and give individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for breathing, cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses. Once course is completed students will receive an America Heart Association HeartSaver Card.
(Participants must pre-register no later than the Wednesday before the class dates)

As our quality of life has been threatened by crime, family disintegration, and other modern pressures, the Airway Heights Parks and Recreation Department - in partnership with our School District, the Airway Heights Kiwanis Club, the Festival Association and other community-based organizations and business - has risen to the challenge, providing services to increase community health and stability. Today, the Airway Heights Parks and Recreation Department provides much, more than recreation experiences.
Through diverse and innovative programming, and broad partnerships, the Parks & Recreation Department plays an important role in creating a healthy community.

On April 20, 2009 the City Council approved Resolution 2009-009. A resolution relating to adopting the updated Parks and Recreation Plan replacing the existing plan that was adopted on April 21, 2003.
