Residential construction and alteration permits as well as commercial construction and alteration permits fees are determined using a square footage or job cost valuation based on the 1995 UBC Building Valuation Data chart.  Plan review fees are calculated at 65% of the determined permit fee.   For more specifics, please go to our fees page or contact the Building Department.

Mechanical and plumbing permits are based on a per fixture price as established by the applicable UMC and UPC charts. 

Pole sign permits - $150.00

Wall sign permits - $40.00 (+ $20.00 for each additional sign)

Fence permits - $25.00
In-ground swimming pool permits - $175.00

Fireworks stand permits - $100.00

Re-roof permits - $50.00

Demolition permits - $50.00 per 1,000 square feet (not to exceed $500.00)

Commercial coach placement permits - $200.00

Manufactured home placement permits - $227.00 (includes $27.00 plumbing permit)

Commercial change of use/occupancy permits - $150.00
