The Airway Heights Park Advisory Board meets the first Thursday of every month following the first City Council meeting. The Board meets at 5:30 p.m. at the Airway Heights Community Center 13120 W. 13th Avenue in the Small Conference Room (Blue Room) on the Main Floor.
The Airway Heights Park Advisory Board consists of 5 members who are citizens of recognized fitness for such positions who have an interest in the City. Members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council.
The Board advises City Staff regarding the direction of the parks in the planning and development of facilities and programs. The Board serves as the City's Tree Board and advises staff regarding the direction of the City's Urban Forestry Program as it relates to city property.
